What Is The Glue Board?

Insects have inhabited our planet for millions of years and will continue to do so, whether we like it or not. In our ever developing environment, we face greater challenges to keep our human population in good health which means keeping our food and living spaces free from all unwanted pests.

The most common public health and nuisance pests in the UK today are rodents and flying insects. With developing technology and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Control Of Pesticides Regulations (COPR) we have seen large numbers of Electric Fly Killers (EFK’s) being the most common equipment delivering the highest rates of eradication in industrial and other public premises.

The most effective Electric Fly Killers use glue boards to trap the insects for identification (control and assessment of infestations) and for disposal.

We recommend that the boards are replaced on a monthly basis, but checked weekly and replaced more frequently if required.
